Semiconductors and optical-communications led gains; nonferrous metals were
active; ports & shipping and autos advanced while power-grid equipment lagged.

Technology (06809.HK) and Kingboard Laminates (01888.HK) +9%+, SenseTime
(00020.HK) +8.9%, GigaDevice (03986.HK) and Zhongji Xuchuang (03308.HK) +8%+,
Hua Hong Hongli (01347.HK), Biren Technology (06082.HK) and Kingboard Holdings
(00148.HK) ~+7%, SMIC (00981.HK) +6%+, Laopu Gold (06181.HK) +5.2%. Losers
included Zhipu (02513.HK) -5.3% and Lenovo Group (00992.HK) -1.7%.
