Jared Kushner, President Trump's son-in-law, met in Jerusalem on the 17th with
Prime Minister Netanyahu and a member of a Gaza peace committee to advance a
Gaza peace plan. Netanyahu agreed to establish two working groups: one to
oversee disarmament and demilitarization of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance
Movement (Hamas), which both sides said should be completed as soon as possible
and before Gaza reconstruction begins; the other to address health, clean water
and related basic services.
