China has delivered a domestically developed and built 99,000 cubic metre
ultra-large ethane/ethylene carrier to its owner on the 18th. The 230-metre
vessel is configured to carry ethane, ethylene and liquefied petroleum gas
(LPG); its technical specifications meet international-leading standards.
Designed for long-haul voyages, the ship features lower fuel consumption and
maintenance costs and is positioned as an economical, environmentally friendly
transport solution for liquefied industrial and energy gases.
