At the morning open, China’s main futures contracts were mostly higher: Shanghai
crude (SC) up about 5%; fuel oil and ethylene glycol (EG) up nearly 4%;
Europe-route container freight futures rose over 3%; synthetic rubber and
liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) up around 3%; asphalt and low‑sulfur fuel oil (LU)
climbed over 2%. Lagging were Shanghai tin and starch, down more than 1%;
international copper, eggs and Shanghai copper fell about 1%.
