Counterpoint Research: Global TV shipments in Q2 2026 were down 0.4% YoY, effectively flat; June single-month shipments fell 4% YoY. OLED TV shipments rose 20% YoY in Q2 2026.

State Administration for Market Regulation registration bureau head Du Linya said at a briefing on July 18 that, as of end-July this year, registered individual businesses in China's lower-tier markets exceed companies by a ratio of 209:100—well above the 85:100 ratio in first- and second-tier cities. There are more than 78 mln such individual businesses, about 86% engaged in services-related sectors.

The PBOC conducted 469.7 bln yuan of overnight reverse repos while 565.5 bln yuan of overnight reverse repos matured, producing a net withdrawal of 95.8 bln yuan. No other reverse-repo tenors were conducted today.
