At the China AI Industry Development Alliance 18th plenary on Aug 18, 2026, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) AI Research Institute, Humanoid Robot (Shanghai) Co. Ltd and the Embodied Intelligence Testing Lab released the Embodied Intelligence Training Ground Research Report (2026); Humanoid Robot (Shanghai) R&D director Zhou Hai interpreted the findings. The report surveys China’s embodied-intelligence data evolution and current training-ground construction, and sets out common challenges, development stages, implementation pathways and standardization needs. It is targeted at policymakers, technology and data providers, application users, and training-ground builders/operators to inform policy, standards and infrastructure choices and to accelerate commercialization and industrial deployment of embodied-intelligence technologies.
