Iran foreign ministry spokesman Baghaei rejected the UAE's accusation that Iran fired missiles at it, saying such claims breach good-neighbourliness, undermine regional trust and efforts to prevent escalation. Baghaei urged parties to avoid unfounded allegations given the complex environment created by ongoing US and Israeli actions in the region and alleged false‑flag incidents. The UAE earlier announced it would suspend trade, commercial and financial transactions with Iran.
