UAE defence ministry said air-defence systems detected two ballistic missiles from the direction of Iran heading toward UAE; one fell outside territorial waters and the other inside, with no casualties or damage. The ministry said the country is on high alert, prepared to respond to any threat and will take measures to safeguard sovereignty, security and stability. It urged the public to obtain information only from official channels and avoid spreading unverified reports.
