Norwegian State Secretary Andreas Kravik met Wednesday with USTR Deputy Trade Representative Jeff Goettman, who covers Europe and related regions, to discuss the additional 12.5% U.S. tariff on Norwegian exports imposed last month — a rate above that applied to EU goods — and the possibility of further increases. Goettman said after the meeting higher tariffs are "very likely" and that stakeholders "should be clear-eyed about this."
