Daiwa downgraded Kuaishou (01024.HK) two notches to Hold after Q2 results that met expectations, cutting its 2026 net-profit forecast by about 40% and lowering its target price to HK$40 (down 44%). The broker trimmed adjusted EPS estimates for 2026–28 by 39–43%. Daiwa expects Kuaishou’s core business to deteriorate in H2, with particular weakness in online marketing and “other services” (including e‑commerce commissions and its Keling AI). Its 2026 forecasts: online marketing revenue -1% YoY, live-streaming revenue -16% YoY, other services +10% YoY, and consolidated revenue -3.5% YoY. Gross margin is seen falling from 55% in 2025 to 51% in 2026; adjusted net margin is expected to slide from 14.5% to 7%, implying adjusted net profit of about 9.5 bln yuan.
