Aug 20 — Guangdong Development and Reform Commission convened executives from private platform firms including Huolala, Yingfeng Environment, Huya, Vipshop, Quwan Technology, Qixin Group and Guangdong Hongteng to gather suggestions on promoting high‑quality platform‑economy development. The commission called the platform economy a provincial strength and a key driver of growth, industrial upgrading and livelihoods, and said firm input will inform economic assessment and policy design. It said it will study and draft policy measures, establish routine communication with private firms, and step up support for factor provision, opening application scenarios and policy supply to create a stable, predictable operating environment.
