Mitsubishi Motors is shifting its strategic focus to the U.S. and Australia after sustained weakness in Southeast Asian markets eroded a longstanding source of sales support.

Infineon, with partners RT-Thread and Shiyun Technology, launched Edgi-X, an intelligent unmanned-vehicle controller built on Infineon's PSOC Edge E83 dual-core heterogeneous chip as the compute base. The platform targets autonomous motion control across aerial, land and surface vehicles and integrates chip compute, a real-time operating system and model-based development firmware to complete the technical chain.

Hong Kong stocks finished higher; the Hang Seng rose 0.8% to 25,698.49, the Hang Seng Tech index gained 0.39% to 4,700.53. Market turnover was HKD 269.12 bln. Sector drivers: innovative drug, CXO and oncology names led gains; mainland property, gold and autos also firmed. Weakness was concentrated in paper, live-streaming and wearable-tech stocks.
