Aug 20, Dalian — The APEC Energy Think Tank Forum brought together more than 100
delegates from 16 APEC economies, international organizations, think tanks and
research institutes to discuss energy security, regional resilience, energy
technology and innovation cooperation, and multilateral think‑tank networks.
Participants called for institutionalized cooperation to remove barriers,
coordinate energy security with the green transition, pursue coordinated
innovation in key core technologies, and advance regional energy market
interconnectivity to build an open, resilient Asia‑Pacific energy security
framework. The 16th APEC Energy Ministers’ Meeting is scheduled for Sept. 10‑11
in Beijing.
