On the 20th Tel Aviv’s Ben‑Gurion Airport reported severe operational disruption after some staff staged strike-like actions. Check‑in and baggage‑handling systems were halted; stands were near capacity though aircraft could still land. One inbound flight to Ben‑Gurion returned to France. Airport operators declared a “crisis event,” warned the airport could be forced to close if the situation is not reversed, ordered staff to stop the actions and said they would seek emergency intervention from the labour court if they continue. The day was expected to handle more than 610 flight movements and about 107,000 passengers. The transport workers’ union affiliated with the Israeli General Federation of Labor denied a sudden strike and said it had not ordered a work stoppage.
