China's Ministry of Finance said fiscal-financial measures to boost domestic
demand have been refined and will take effect Aug. 1. The interest-subsidy
scheme will now cover newly issued working-capital loans within the existing
loan-subsidy framework for small and micro enterprises, and will extend
subsidies to newly incurred credit-card installment consumption — explicitly
including car purchases and home renovations — allowing consumers using
credit-card installment plans to receive interest subsidies.
