Israeli media reported on the 20th that the EU is preparing a package of
sanctions covering commercial, academic and security ties in response to
Israel's advancement of settlement construction in the E1 area of the West Bank.
Channel 13, citing two diplomatic sources, said preliminary measures include
labeling imports from Israel, reducing academic cooperation and suspending parts
of security and diplomatic cooperation.
