ICBC said it will implement a joint Ministry of Finance, PBOC and financial regulator notice to refine fiscal interest-subsidy support for personal consumption lending, effective Aug 1, 2026. The bank will expand subsidy coverage to newly originated credit-card installment products — including special installments, consumption installments and cash-advance installments — and raise the cumulative annual subsidy cap per borrower on personal consumption loans and credit-card installments from 3,000 yuan to 5,000 yuan.
