Turkey's central bank said it will resume weekly repo auctions at its 37% policy rate to normalize funding conditions, and indicated it assesses the worst economic impact from the Iran war may be over. In early March the bank had shifted funding from the 37% policy rate to a higher 40% overnight lending rate—effectively a one-off rate increase. The central bank's Sunday statement did not specify when repo auctions will restart.

UK Maritime Trade Operations said nearly 200 vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz last week, up from 150 the week before and about 40 two weeks earlier. Maritime intelligence firm Kpler said over the past two weeks more than 80% of liquid cargoes transiting the Strait either rerouted via a US-backed, IMO-authorised Oman route or had vessels switch off automatic identification systems (AIS) to obscure movements.
