He said President Xi and visiting US President Trump held in‑depth talks in May on major issues affecting China‑US ties and world peace. China said it is willing to work with the US to fully and accurately implement the leaders' consensus, deepen correct mutual understanding, respect each other's core interests, strengthen pragmatic cooperation across fields, properly manage differences and actively build a constructive, strategically stable China‑US relationship.
