China Customs said Jan–Jul Guangdong’s customs advanced‑certified enterprises (AEOs), just 1.11% of foreign‑trade firms, accounted for 48.73% of the province’s trade; their imports and exports rose 25.7% in that period. Guangdong has 2,035 AEOs, the most nationwide, and added 111 this year, expanding AEO coverage. Customs is promoting credit‑based facilitation, targeted credit cultivation, enterprise coordinators and cross‑agency incentives to grow AEOs. Policy is also pushing to develop 15 industry‑chain lead firms; Jiangmen has cultivated 14, supporting orderly relocation of Pearl River Delta industry and technology upgrades in sectors including home appliances, textiles and metal products.
