Ukrainian media report Russian attacks have forced postponement of planned Kyiv visits by the U.S. Middle East special envoy and Trump senior adviser Jared Kushner.

In the early hours of Aug 24 local time, Ukraine launched large-scale drone strikes on several Russian regions, damaging Ozon logistics centers in Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Adygea, the Republic of Dagestan and Stavropol Krai and sparking fires. Ozon said it has begun evacuating affected warehouse staff; some products have been removed from the platform and orders have been canceled or rerouted.

Ship-tracking firm Kpler said fewer than 20 vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz over the weekend, with 13 transits on Saturday and four on Sunday. Actual traffic may be higher because some ships may have switched off AIS transponders. U.S. and Iranian blockade measures continue to restrict passage through the energy-critical chokepoint.
