Shanghai Stock Exchange and China Securities Index Co. will publish the STAR
Market Battery Theme Index on Aug 25, 2026, creating a new investable benchmark
for battery-related securities on the STAR Market. The index will include STAR
Market-listed companies whose businesses span power batteries, energy-storage
batteries, consumer-electronics batteries and emerging battery technologies,
covering upstream and downstream supply‑chain securities to reflect the sector’s
overall performance.
