Moody's says Pakistan's external position remains fragile, particularly given its still-large external financing needs.

On an Aug. 23 conference call Lens Technology said it added an international action-camera customer during the reporting period; two assembly projects have entered ramp-up to mass production and a further NPI is under validation and is expected to reach mass production within the year. Market penetration of the new imaging consumer products is rising rapidly and shipments are expanding substantially. Lens said its large-scale, high-precision automated lines have materially improved assembly yield and efficiency, helping the customer achieve mass shipments.

South Korea's KOSPI opened down 2.40%; Samsung Electronics down 3%, SK Hynix down 4%.
