The China Payment and Clearing Association issued a self-regulatory code for intelligent-agent payment applications, directing members to, on top of KYC, explore establishing a Know Your Agent (KYA) framework to identify and verify agents accessing payment rails, enforce real-name management for users of agent-based payment services, and formalize agent-to-user mappings via contracts or equivalent mechanisms.
