HKEX: JP Morgan on Aug 20 increased its H-share long position in TTANQT LITHIUM (09696.HK) to 11.17% from 10.18%.

Gold was broadly steady after touching its highest level since mid-May on Monday as investors awaited US inflation data and a speech by Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh later this week. Sucden Financial said that despite the US 10-year Treasury yield remaining near 4.7%, renewed US fiscal concerns, uncertainty over Treasury market credibility and a dollar index persistently below 99 are keeping demand for gold firm; gold needs to hold above $4,700/oz to sustain stronger gains.

Hong Kong government: Net gold exports from Hong Kong to mainland China in July were 56.193 tonnes, up from 50.679 tonnes previously. Total gold exports to the mainland were 75.457 tonnes in July, down from 78.147 tonnes previously.
