UAE presidential adviser Anwar Gargash said Iran's attacks on Arab Gulf states
have weakened Tehran, deepened its isolation and amounted to a "serious
miscalculation" that will not achieve its objectives. He said the US‑Iran
confrontation has entered a new phase marked by escalating economic pressure, an
end to attempts to control the Strait of Hormuz and the close of the
memorandum-of-understanding phase. Gargash urged Tehran to cooperate with
neighboring states to de‑escalate and seek a political end to the war rather
than continue attacks on Arab Gulf states.
