VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry) says U.S. tariffs on Canada are a concern for the German auto industry.

President Trump said the US is considering renaming Lake Ontario to "Lake America", saying the US does not expect to do much business with Ontario going forward. He said US-Canada trade talks collapsed and proposed raising tariffs on Canadian cars, auto parts and steel to 50% from next year.

Axios reports Cisco (CSCO.O) is partnering with Supermicro (SMCI.O) to add high-performance AI servers to its NVIDIA-backed infrastructure portfolio, extending beyond networking to sell more AI compute hardware. Cisco says the deal will add high-density liquid-cooled and air-cooled systems to its Secure AI Factory solution. Cisco says it is stepping up AI infrastructure efforts, betting compute demand will not slow in the foreseeable future.
