Market sources say Waymo plans to launch a driverless robotaxi service in Germany by the end of 2027.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said China’s digital industry posted 1H 2026 revenue of 20.71 trillion yuan, up 13.6% YoY; growth accelerated 4.1ppt YoY and 0.7ppt versus Q1. Total profit was 1.79 trillion yuan, up 19.3% YoY with a 10.3ppt YoY acceleration. Profit margin rose to 8.6%, up 0.7ppt YoY. MIIT cited stronger domestic AI demand and robust export momentum as drivers of profit improvement.
