Cuban Foreign Minister Rodriguez on the 25th condemned the US government’s
decision to extend the application of the Trading with the Enemy Act to Cuba, in
force since 1962, for another year. Via social media he said: "Cuba condemns in
the strongest terms the US government's one-year extension of the economic,
commercial and financial blockade; this genocidal policy against our people has
lasted more than 60 years." He added: "Cuba is not the threat; the blockade is."
