The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) leader Mazloum Abdi said at a press conference at the Syrian presidential palace on the 25th that he would dissolve the SDF and the Kurdish-established autonomous administration and that they will be fully integrated into Syrian state institutions.

Four people familiar with the matter on Aug. 25 said Iran’s missile and drone strikes heavily damaged U.S. intelligence sites and surveillance equipment in the Middle East, causing damage greater than in any previous similar strike on U.S. intelligence agencies; repair costs are expected to reach tens of billions of dollars.
