A First Abu Dhabi Bank analyst says Fed Chair Kevin Warsh is expected to address
reforms to Fed communication at the Jackson Hole symposium, including the future
of forward guidance, the Fed's balance sheet and the forecasting framework. The
analyst says Warsh could focus on structural macro drivers that shape long-term
market performance—productivity, demographics, artificial intelligence and the
global economy—or take a more conventional route, outlining the economic outlook
to set the tone for FOMC policy discussions ahead of this year’s final three
meetings.
