Aug 25 — A Western Land-Sea New Corridor cross-border road shuttle completed the
first trial using documents adapted to the UN Convention on the Transferable
Documents of Title to Goods. The fully loaded shuttle, carrying communications
equipment and other cargo, departed Chongqing Nanpeng bonded logistics center
and exited China via Youyiguan port to Vietnam on a roughly 1,400 km route. The
trial, based on the UN convention, marks a key step toward cross-border
road-transport documents functioning as certificates of title.
