Dubai International Airport said passenger throughput fell about one-third in H1 as the conflict involving Iran disrupted travel. Q2 throughput was 13 million passengers, bringing H1 total to 31.5 million, a 31% decline from last year's record levels despite partial recovery in May and June. The airport expects demand to recover in H2 but has delayed its 100 million annual passengers target by one year. Gulf carriers Emirates, Qatar Airways and Etihad have cut capacity and rerouted international networks; several European carriers have suspended flights to multiple regional destinations and are avoiding Gulf airspace.
