Samsung Electronics has launched two ultra‑fast portable SSDs, the P‑series P9 and P7, featuring the next‑generation USB4 interface. The P‑series will roll out globally from September in four capacities: 1TB, 2TB, 4TB and 8TB. Suggested retail prices for the P9 are 505,000 won (1TB), 966,000 won (2TB), 2,005,000 won (4TB) and 4,010,000 won (8TB). P7 SRPs are 431,000 won (1TB), 817,000 won (2TB), 1,708,000 won (4TB) and 3,401,000 won (8TB).

Mukhtar Haddad, editor of Iranian paper Al-Vefaq, said U.S. media reports that a Secretary of State remarked Washington would not launch a new round of strikes against Iran indicate a deliberate U.S. strategy to preserve the current standoff through the U.S. midterm elections and resume broader military action afterward. Haddad warned Iran will not passively await U.S. timing. He described recent U.S. announcements of blockades and sanctions as not substantively new, and said if Iran sees the U.S. fail to meet conditions or not return to the memorandum of understanding, Tehran will take necessary measures; he added Iran’s ongoing adjustments to military strategy reflect that stance.
