Sources said SoftBank is discussing with banks a bond sale of $10–20 billion to help refinance loans taken to fund its OpenAI investment. SoftBank plans to invest nearly $65 billion in OpenAI by October, with part financed by debt. Iran's military said the eastern Hormuz Sea, the northern Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman are under its operational control. Vessels are monitored several hundred kilometers before reaching the Strait of Hormuz and may transit only after obtaining Iranian permission.
