EIA: U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve inventories fell 3.7 mln barrels in the week to Aug 21; prior -5.268 mln barrels.

According to its latest sustainability report, TSMC (TSM.N) says AI and advanced-chip demand has driven global expansion and higher power consumption. TSMC used 28.77 bln kWh in 2025, up 12.6% YoY, equivalent to roughly 10% of Taiwan’s annual electricity demand. The company aims for renewables to supply 60% of global operations’ electricity by 2030 (20.1% in 2025), 100% by 2040 and net-zero emissions by 2050.
