China and India's special representatives on the boundary issue reached an
eight-point consensus at their 25th meeting, agreeing to adhere to the 2005
agreement on political parameters and subsequent special-representative-level
consensuses, to advance consultations under the boundary-resolution framework to
seek a fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable solution, and to establish a
delimitation expert group and a border-management working group under the
Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on China-India Border
Affairs (WMCC).
