Last month Russian crude accounted for more than half of India’s imports. Kpler modelling senior manager Sumit Ritolia expects Russian shipments to India to fall to about 2.0 mln bpd this month from roughly 2.8 mln bpd in July, citing normalization after strong buying, reduced Russian export availability, increased competition and refinery maintenance; he adds supplies are likely to recover above 2.0 mln bpd in the coming months.
