Beijing time afternoon Aug 26 — Tindex (Iran Economic Index Reference) reported the Tehran Stock Exchange composite index jumped 155,000 points to breach 6,385,000, with as many as 90% of stocks advancing and over 80% up 2–3%. State news agency IRNA confirmed the move. The rally follows yesterday’s spike, when the index climbed more than 100,000 points in under an hour to break the 6.2 million mark.
