China's most-active commodity futures were mixed at the morning open. Soda ash
and ethylene glycol (EG) fell more than 2%. Shanghai tin, platinum, short fiber,
palladium, p-xylene and methanol were down over 1%; caustic soda, PTA and PVC
declined about 1%. On the upside, soybean meal and soybean No.2 rose over 2%,
rapeseed meal nearly 2%; LPG, SC crude and asphalt gained over 1%, container
shipping freight to Europe rose over 1%, and soybean oil advanced nearly 1%.
