Ireland’s minister of state for international cooperation called on European governments to present a unified response to a recent Israeli escalation in the West Bank, saying Ireland recognises Palestine as a state and supports a two‑state solution. She urged tougher sanctions on individuals involved in settlement construction and on goods from settlements, and said Ireland will host a meeting next week to discuss the West Bank occupation. Ireland is coordinating with Spain and other countries to expand sanctions on Israel.

Through August, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) issued more than 900 national standards for the service sector—about 860 for producer services (≈95%) and roughly 50 for life/consumer services (≈5%). 235 of the newly issued standards are already in force, supporting service-sector quality upgrades and capacity expansion.
