At the open, China’s main futures contracts were mostly higher. Shanghai crude
(SC) led gains, up over 4%; coking coal, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and soybean
oil rose about 2%. Coke, ferrosilicon, silver, palladium, propylene, soybean
No.2 and Shanghai lead advanced more than 1%. Pulp fell over 1%, while stainless
steel (SS), soybean No.1 and Shanghai zinc slipped about 1%.
