Shanxi Coking Coal said at an earnings briefing that its main suspended mines —
Xiqu, Malan, Zhenchengdi and Ximing — have largely resumed normal production.
Xiqu mine halted July 23, resumed July 30, halted again Aug 5 after an accident
and had resumed by Aug 26. Malan halted July 27 and resumed July 30. Zhenchengdi
and Ximing halted July 27 and July 30 respectively due to license expiries, each
offline for about one month. The company said the stoppages had limited impact
on output and that its mines are now essentially back to normal production.
