Remote‑sensing interpretation combined with field surveys has identified more than 60 geological‑hazard points, with eight preliminarily judged high‑risk. Authorities are conducting emergency mapping and targeted risk surveys of icefall source zones, barrier (dammed) lakes, channel corridors and surrounding catchments, and have stepped up geological patrols of rescue routes, nearby villages and resettlement sites. The ministry recommends drone aerial surveys combined with ground patrols for monitoring during search-and-rescue, and has ordered intensified monitoring of debris‑source areas and continued risk assessment and early warning for collapses and landslides caused by channel scouring.
