Around 12:25 a.m. local time on Aug. 30, a shooting at a community gathering in Trenton, New Jersey left 11 people wounded; two were killed and nine hospitalized. The event drew roughly 150–200 attendees. Witnesses reported an initial burst of gunfire followed by a second round. Police say the number of shooters is unclear and have not released suspect information. Investigators placed nearly 40 evidence markers; the investigation is ongoing.
