An Indian Oil executive said the company plans to lift domestic natural gas sales to 1.5 times current levels by 2030.

Shanghai Stock Exchange said on Aug 30 that 2,318 Shanghai-listed companies have completed 2026 1H disclosures. Aggregate 1H revenue totaled 26.22 tln yuan, up 6.3% YoY; net profit was 2.82 tln yuan, up 17.6% YoY; core net profit (excluding non-recurring items) was 2.69 tln yuan, up 17.2% YoY — the fastest pace since 2022. About 80% of firms were profitable in 1H; 924 companies reported YoY profit growth, 339 saw profit rises exceeding 50%, and 142 returned to profit. SSE 180 members reported 17.87 tln yuan in revenue and 2.36 tln yuan in net profit, up 6.9% and 14.8% YoY, respectively.
