China Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Security Wu Xiuzhang attended the 14th ASEAN+3 Labour Ministers' Meeting in Thailand on Aug 26-27, promoting China’s “invest in people” skills development strategy and achievements. On Aug 28-29 he visited Uzbekistan and met the head of Uzbekistan’s State Social Security Agency to discuss strengthening bilateral social security cooperation.

S&P 500 exited the summer selloff about a month ago and has resumed record highs.
