President Trump said he plans to campaign for Republican congressional candidates this fall with the same intensity as his 2024 presidential bid. In a Fox News Sunday-night interview he acknowledged the incumbent party typically loses seats in midterms but said he expects the GOP to perform well. The plan implies intensified travel as the midterms approach and could affect Washington's balance of power; Republicans currently hold majorities in both the House and Senate.
