Hong Kong-listed property stocks jumped: SUNAC CHINA (01918.HK) and COUNTRY GARDEN (02007.HK) rose over 14%, Shimao Group (00813.HK) advanced more than 10%, China Vanke (02202.HK) rose over 8%, with Longfor Group (00960.HK) and Xincheng Development (01030.HK) also higher. Aon is close to agreeing to buy USI Insurance from private equity firm KKR for about $17bn including debt, people familiar with the matter said. If completed, the deal could be announced as early as Monday. New York-based USI generates roughly $3bn in annual revenue. A person familiar said the acquisition would broaden Aon's mid‑market brokerage capabilities and could be accretive to Aon's EPS as early as 2028.
