The State Council executive meeting approved the revised Implementing Regulations of the PRC Audit Law, urging the revision be used to deepen audit reform, strengthen implementation of audit rectification responsibilities and enhance audit supervision effectiveness.

At an Aug. 28 results briefing, Southern Grid Energy Storage said it has nine pumped‑storage hydro projects under construction. Under the company’s plan, projects will be completed and commissioned from the 15th Five‑Year Plan period into the early 16th Five‑Year Plan, with new stations entering operation each year. The company is targeting commissioning of the Zhaoqing pumped‑storage project within this year but said the schedule faces uncertainty from multiple construction factors.
